I’m Edom (pronounced é-dome)

I was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and grew up sort of all-over. I’m a full time art director at Ogilvy (Chicago, then now NYC) working with and learning from talented creative minds (portfolio here)

When i’m not art-directing, I’m art-making.

I’m a self taught artist and have been painting oil portraits since ~2017. I love to paint as a means of inspiration and personal reflection, as well as experiment in portraying individual and collective cultural identity that connect me to the world.
